Description   Royal Berkey® Capacity & Flow Rate: The Royal is the mid-size Berkey® system. It comes equipped with either two or four Black Berkey® purifying elements, and can accept a maximum of four elements. Lower storage tank capacity is 3.25 gallons. Flow rate is 4 gallons per hour with two elements or 8 gph with four elements. The Royal Berkey® system, when configured with four Black Berkey® purification elements, can purify up to 190 gallons per day (~8 gallons per hour) when the upper chamber is full. Along with the Big Berkey®, the Royal is one of our most popular Berkey purifiers. More Information Dimensions: 9.5"D x 23"H (15.25"H when nested for storage or transport) PLEASE NOTE:  Berkey purifier systems (and component parts) are not available for sale to California or Iowa. The manufacturer deems certification requirements in those states to be so costly and/or burdensome that meeting them is unworkable.
